Hello again! Guess what, I have dived with great white sharks and survived!!!
I am in Port Lincoln, South Australia, at the moment. Been spending the past few days exploring the beautiful, rugged coastline of the Eyre Peninsula. But, last I posted here I was still in Queensland so allow me to catch ya'll up...
Started my roadtrip by going north from Townsville at Wallaman Falls, the highest waterfall in Australia
There were a bunch of adorable little calves on the road there
My accommodation, either I sleep in the hammock or in the back of my car, every now and again I splurge and stay a night or two in a hostel as well, mainly so I can take a warm shower!!
couple chickens had to check out my car while I went and checked out the waterfall
The Etherton Tablelands is where all these gorgeous waterfalls were at and they had a bunch of little dairy farms around too!
Haha, these geese where hilarious. At the dairy here they make cheese and chocolate and also have a little petting zoo of sorts, well these geese came running up and were chasing me until I let them each have a big bite of my shoes, then the ran off squawking again. Don't need a guard dog with these geese around!
Curtain fig, its a massive suffocating fig
Lots of nice, very cold swimming holes under the falls
This is in Mossman Gorge in the Daintree Rainforest north of Cairns
Rainforest and beaches are right next to eachother in the Daintree, quite beautiful!
Went to Hartley's Crocodile Adventures which is basically another tropical zoo but with lots of crocs! And... my phone doesn't want to upload any more photos at the moment... which is quite a bummer because I have about 300 photos to show you guys! But here's a couple of lazy koalas :)
Anyways, I'm going to keep moving. There's lots of exploring to do before I fly home in 3 weeks!!
