It was nice weather today so Antony and I biked over to the Resistance Museum in Amsterdam. This museum showed WWII through the eyes of the Dutch while they were under German occupation. The Dutch people really had three options: adapt and go on as usual as much as possible, collaborate with the Germans, or resist. It was very interesting for me to see the European view of the war, in America it was in a way a foreign war except for Pearl Harbor. We fought and were affected but the people in Europe lived the war. They had bombs dropping and Germans threatening to shoot you or deport you. The Pacific theatre was also close to home for the Dutch as they had colonized there. It was a museum well worth visiting.
We also had Dutch French fries with Joppa sauce. I guess it is a very Dutch thing. Then tonight we met with Antony's pastor and shot the breeze for a while. I really enjoyed talking with him. Theologically our denominations are basically the same but he is openly socialist whereas I am very much conservative. This led to some very fun conversations.

Sorry, I didn't take very many pictures today.
