Part 3: Washington

Hello again! After Hawaii I jumped over to Washington to visit cousin #2. Antony met me at the airport and he got to be my tour guide once again for the weekend. It was pretty rainy all of Sunday, but Saturday turned out to be a beautiful day for checking out Mt Rainier and waterfall hunting.

And now I've got one more flight to go and I'll be back home in Iowa! Woot woot!

Hello again! We are going to do this in 3 segments : last 2 weeks in Australia, Hawaii, and Washington. So here we go!

I finished up at Moxey's August 31 and started my trek home on September 3rd. Spent an afternoon in the Blue Mountains, the next afternoon in Sydney, and then flew to Honolulu for 2.5 days. From there I flew to Washington for another 2.5 days, and in a few hours I will be on yet another plane back to Iowa!  Let's start with Australia...

Here's a few of my special calves :D

This is Gussy, she loves cuddles...

...and neck scratches

This is Mazda, she doesn't like cuddles quite as much...

...but is still one of my favorites :)

This is Grasshopper cause she is so lanky and energetic haha

Caviar cause her eyes are like fish eyes haha

And Spot cause she's cute

It snowed nearby so Elyse and I went and took the wheels off a longboard (skateboard) and used that as a sort of snowboard haha

Meet Fair and Dinkum, they want to be professional shoe shiners when they grow up

Some beautiful sunsets out on the farm!

And back to the Blue Mountains. Most of these pictures are from a hiking trail called the Grand Canyon. Much greener than the US version haha

Then I spent a few hours cruising around Sydney...

 ... On my long board!

 Sydney harbor bridge

This seagull stole my sandwich out of my hand just inches from my mouth :(

Hawaii!!! Stopped in Honolulu to see cousin #1 and to enjoy Hawaii :D

 Went to Pearl Harbor
Saw the USS Arizona memorial where WWII started for the US

And went aboard the USS Missouri where the war ended

 Signing of the Japanese surrender

And We shall continue with the adventures in another post. Adios!

Well, my phone is being a little weird and not letting me write anything above the pictures... So we'll roll with it :)

Hello! Sorry (again) for not updating this blog very often. Things are grand here, little chilly being winter but generally if the sun comes out the afternoons are very pleasant! And with those nice afternoons I've been able to do a little exploring :)

Few weeks back I got a couple days off in a row so went waterfall hunting and whale watching in Kangaroo Valley and Jervis Bay respectively.
First day was spent galavanting through the woods finding some great views!

 Hehe

And there's my first glimpse of the ocean.

Made it by sunrise, without hitting any kangaroos woot woot

Claimed to be the whitest sand on earth. Haha it looks like snow!

I jumped on a whale watching cruise, didn't get many good pictures but we did find some humpback whales!

Crawled through a cave in the side of a cliff and...

This is the view from the end of the cave!

My perch looking for more whales :)

 Mini-vacation complete :)

I've started longboarding! The second one is mine. Hahaha and funny story, I've gotten kicked out a McDonalds now! My friends and I must have looked like naughty little hooligans carrying our longboards into the McDonalds haha

And I've done a few maternity shifts too, getting lots of calves through!

 Some more local exploring :)

Isn't he so fluffy and cute!

And I've got a bike now too. Elyse, one of y coworkers, and I have been able to go for a few rides together after work :)

And I've put in my 2 weeks notice to Moxey Farms :(
Which means I'm coming home!! :D
I'll be back in Iowa on September 9
